Red lights, red alert. Here is a little sneak peak of me messing around in my new space, Haleh Nematzadeh Archive and Studio. If creation is a choice, I have made mine in this bathroom, along side that cheezy ass fake christian dior tube top I just can’t seem to get rid of. Is it just me, or do any tops that say “Christian Dior” not have a very dated 90’s sex in the city kitchiness to them ?

Sometimes I feel when I don’t have much to say the universe does it for me. Experiencing a personal breakthrough will do that. What does this have to do with Liv Nervo in an all white Haleh Nematzadeh ensemble pictured here with fellow vixen Kesha have to do with this? Everything and nothing. Though recent seeming setbacks in my life prevented me from doing the thing that I most love to do: make clothes and present collections (playing music is almost as equal!) , I will always continue creating garments, for a particular girl, my “girl” so to say. It serves her, illuminates her, enough to make Vogue Italy’s site, along with a bunch of others. This is the magic of being an alchemist. Pitchfork mentioned Twin Shadow’s new album as being “sophisticated enough to withstand close, repeated listening. The songs may be catchy, but their intricacy and thoughtful storytelling makes them stick”. I would say that’s spot on considering they have been my musical obsession since October.
